The relevant background materials are needed for creating the visualization.
They usually define the shape, colour or other additional characteristics of processed objects.

Among others, the quality documentation influences the accuracy and time required for processing of the visualization. These are important factors which retrospectively influence the customer satisfaction but also a visualization price. Well-prepared background materials save out time and we reward customers with the lower price. Therefore, their role should not be underestimated and it is worth paying them some attention.

What are they? It depends on the type of visualization the client wishes to have made.
In principal, these are the following background materials:

Plans and technical documentation – the most important and best type of materials that exactly define the dimensions and shapes.

Idea drawings – very important for creative or art visualization, especially from the perspective of abstract art when the specific appearance of the prospective object is not known at the beginning, but the visualization must capture the impression it will give.

Sketches, drafts – a suitable supplement to the documentation, principally suitable for solutions of particular details

Photos – essential for photomontage, pasting the visualized objects to the real background settings.

Physical samples – mainly for the product visualization or as a supplement of background documents for objects that do not exist but consist of smaller components the sample of which may be provided, e.g. the visualization of light fitting and its pendant as its physical sample.

The method of handing over may vary and always depends on the specific project and arrangement. The most common is sending by electronic mail or mail.
